Overview
The Enterprise Architect Academic programme from SparxSystems Europe offers the most suitable form of licensing in each case. For students single user licences (EA and Plugin), for educational institutions from classroom to campus licences (EA Ultimate Edition). The academic licences naturally include the same functionality as commercial products. This programme may only be used for non-commercial purposes and is only available to members of an educational institution (e.g. lecturers, teachers, pupils, students or trainers).

The Pro Cloud Server is a standard Microsoft Windows service that manages a pool of database connections for the defined repository. The models can be displayed web-based using Web EA. Enterprise Architect is still required as a FAT client to create or edit the models.
The academic version may only be used for non-commercial purposes and is only available to members of an educational institution (e.g. lecturers, teachers, pupils, students or trainers).

In order to keep the ordering process short, please include a confirmation with your request stating that you are an academic institution, training centre, student or pupil. In the case of Academic Site Licences, you will also receive a licence agreement, which must be confirmed by the academic institution.
The following payment terms are possible:
Academic institution on invoice, for students invoice on prepayment or online order payment by credit card. You will be sent the link for the online order after the authorisation check. We reserve the right to refuse your order without giving any further reasons.
Enterprise Architect – Functional scope
Enterprise Architect Professional Edition Academic
A full-featured UML modelling tool for software architects, designers and developers. Supports projects with multiple users. Code generation (import/export/synchronisation).
Enterprise Architect Corporate Edition Academic
Includes the full functionality of the Desktop and Professional versions, with the additional option of using SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL as a database system. You can also set up user administration for each model. This version is best suited to larger teams for whom even more precise control over access to individual elements and/or the entire model is important. The Corporate Edition is available as a named user or with a licence server for concurrent users.
