Host Enterprise Architect cloud-based repositories - anywhere in the world
WebEA provides a web based solution for viewing and collaborating on Enterprise Architect models using text based updates and team based exchanges. Use WebEA for propagating a design that is to be implemented, as well as reviewing and tracking testing. WebEA provides the ability to access models on mobile devices or from desktops without the need to install the Enterprise Architect application.
Prolaborate is the 'Next Step' for the modeling fraternity - offering tailored views that reduce complexity, focus attention and increase the accessibility of model information for the non-modeling community, who are more concerned with consuming the models.
The latest Floating License server is an adjunct to the Pro Cloud Server that provides a HTTPS service for the distribution of licenses needed for running Enterprise Architect and other Sparx Systems add-in products. Licenses can be accessed from the pool on start up of the application or allocated for a period. On closing the application, or on expiry of a period, the license is returned to the pool providing a mechanism of sharing licenses, allowing an organization to make efficient use of their purchased licenses.
The Pro Cloud Server integrates the data from external providers into Enterprise Architect by relating elements from a wide range of disparate tools that contain items from strategy and requirements down to implementation, work packages and configuration items. Enterprise Architect's Pro Cloud Server Integration acts as an accumulator, bringing content into a single repository ready to be related. A variety of third-party providers can be connected to, including:
- Application Lifecycle Management
- Azure DevOps (Previously Team Foundation Server)
- Enterprise Architect (external models)
- Polarion Integration
Integrate Work Items
Create elements in Enterprise Architect that are linked to the external application's items ready to be updated and synchronized with the push/pull capabilities. Standard items from an external application can be linked into Enterprise Architect, as well as custom-created external items. Team collaboration across applications is supported with the exchange of comments between the items and the elements. For a visual exchange, the external application's items are passed a reference to WebEA for viewing the elements and their related diagrams via a web browser.
Integration to Atlassian products includes Jira and Confluence, and supports both on-site and off-site Jira/Confluence repositories.
Use this integration to create elements in Enterprise Architect that are linked to the Jira/Confluence items ready to be updated and synchronized with the push/pull capabilities.
Link Polarion items, ranging from requirements through to Work items into your Enterprise Architect repository, allowing you to set up relations between these items to form a traceable stream of modeling from design through to implementation.
Notice: Polarion® is a registered trademark of SIEMENS.
Enterprise Architect's server-based integration supports the interchange of Polarion 'items' such as requirements and Live Documents. Push/pull functionality, enables items to be related and changes exchanged between Polarion and Enterprise Architect.
Linking Polarion Items
When importing, Enterprise Architect creates a new External Element for each Polarion item. Select an item from Polarion in EA, and view the meta-data for the item in the corresponding window.
Polarion properties display in the EA's Properties window
Polarion descriptions and comments appear in the EA's Notes window
Polarion discussions and posts appear in the EA's Collaborate window
For example, a Polarion Requirement property such as Priority: Medium appears in the Enterprise Architect Properties window, the Description would appear in the Notes window and the Comments would appear in the Collaborate window.
Collaboration of information, where it is available in Polarion, provides a uniform, cross-integration view of the meta-data, making it easy for Enterprise Architect users to understand the data without the need to leave Enterprise Architect.
Enabled via the Pro Cloud Server
The Pro Cloud Server Polarion integration supports browsing the external provider's items and retrieving lists of items. With these items you can:
- Link an Enterprise Architect element to an external item
- View external element properties
- View and in some cases add to, external item discussions
- Export links to WebEA URL's that correspond to the current model
- Open external items in a web browser
- Import items as elements
- Export elements as Work Items
This integration was fully constructed using the Custom Integration feature of the Pro Cloud Sever and provides a good and clear example for effectively using the CallSBPI automation interface for creating you own custom integrations to external products.

Integrate Work Items
Link Jira items to elements in Enterprise Architect to synchronize with push/pull capabilities.
Any item from Jira can be linked into Enterprise Architect, as well as custom-created Jira issues.
Enterprise Architect and Jira discussions on any item are synchronized - offering cross-application communication.
The ability to set up collaboration notifications for any element in Enterprise Architect means alerts can be sent anytime an important element discussion is updated.
Bi-directional synchronization occurs in the 'External' tabs, and via manual push/pull changes.
Default 'mapping' exists for many Jira items. For example, Jira bugs are automatically 'mapped' to Defects in Enterprise Architect.
Supported via the Pro Cloud Server (PCS)
This integration capability is facilitated by the Pro Cloud Server and is tightly connected to Enterprise Architect. Integration plug-ins are available in the premium editions of the Pro Cloud Server or via individually purchased 'Tokens'. Integration plug-ins also require Enterprise Architect Corporate Edition or above (version 14 or later).

Integrate Azure Work Items
Synchronize Azure DevOps work items and Enterprise Architect elements. Exchange important data to support visibility and consistency across platforms.
Data interchanged from DevOps includes change requests, problems, knowledge feedback, incidents, tasks, configuration items and default data types.
Synchronized Data Exchange
Generate linked elements including tasks, requirements, use cases and issues. Use the resulting elements to drive and trace downstream development.
Supports bi-directional synchronization between the two platforms - in bulk via the 'External' tab or individually via push/pull options.
Explore and Monitor Essential Information
Monitor collaboration across platforms with synchronized notes and properties in the relevant docked windows inside EA.
Share concurrent discussions on shared work items. Instantly see responses from collaborators in both Azure and Enterprise Architect.
