Enterprise Architect Desktop Edition (SKU: EADESK)
Comprehensive UML modelling tool for an individual analyst and/or developer. Supports all the professional features with the exception of code import/export and the ability to share projects. MDG Technologie (MDG Link and Integration plugins) is not supported.

EA Lite (Read Only Version) Don't forget - EA Lite is available for FREE to allow your entire team and clientele to view the progress of your projects, ensuring excellent communication and understanding between all involved. EA Lite supports all features except documentation output and "save".

Enterprise Architect is sold as a licensed product according to the terms and conditions of EULA. Purchasing a license makes you a registered user and entitles you to:

• Download and activate the current, full version of the product.
• Access free updates and new builds for a 12-month period.
• Access to Sparx Systems' email support services for 12 months.
• 12-month access to the registered user area, including all resources and email support.

Notice: Maintainence upgrades and access to the registered user area are included in the initial price. You have the opportunity to renew this contract after 12 months.

Basic-License

The Basic License is based on named user limitation; you may use your license on several PC's (e.g. home office, laptop, company desktop, etc.) but not at the same time, or by different users.

Desktop and Professional Version are only as Basic-License available.

Floating-License

Floating licenses are suitable for companies that wish to automate the management of EA registration keys, providing the facility to administer the licenses via the Sparx Enterprise Key Store. You can use EA on your laptop without a connection to the Licence Server. This is a free service with the purchase of floating licenses.

If you purchase an Enterprise Architect license, at the end of the 12 months you have the option to renew your subscription for a further year to continue receiving subscription benefits. If you decide to renew, you must renew each of the expired licenses you intend to update, at the renewal rate for the edition type you hold.

If your subscription is current: At the beginning of the month wherein your license expires, you will be emailed a renewal notice which includes purchase links. As this will be sent to the email address on file, if you have changed your email address since registering you must inform us using our update email address form. If you would like to update your address, please contact sales(at)sparxsystems.eu

Notes on Renewing: Once you have purchased EA, if your subscription lapses, you can reinstate it at any time just by paying the renewal fee for the license type you hold. This will entitle you to download the latest version of EA.
Renewal will only cover the number and type of licenses originally purchased. Any additional licenses must be purchased at the standard price for the edition required.
If you choose not to renew you may continue to use your current version of EA, but you won't be able to update it until you renew.
If you choose not to renew, you will lose access to the downloadable version of EA from the Sparx website. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you make a backup copy of the EA installation file to a permanent medium such as CD ROM, so that you can reinstall it at any time in the future.

Upgrades : Please find below the Enterprise Architect Feature Matrix for further details of each edition. You can upgrade your version of EA to a more feature rich edition at any time by paying the current difference between the edition you own and the edition to which you wish to upgrade (registered users only).The pricing structure for upgrades does not support volume discounts, therefore the price is calculated on the "1 to 4 license" price structure. Note that upgrades do not extend the term of your existing subscription. Renewal rates thereafter will be calculated at the higher license level.

Notice: A License Upgrade (eg. Basic to Professional) does not extend the maintainance period.
